me in a nutshell

I’m a freelance journalist, pineapple pizza enthusiast, lover of crosswords, expert of Scrabble. Hailing from the corn fields of Bloomington, Illinois, I eventually jumped around to UW-Madison, where I graduated in 2020 with a degree in journalism. Now based in Chicago, I’m currently studying magazine reporting as a graduate student at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
